The Prime Minister's arrival at Amalienborg Palace
Prince Joachim received the Prime Minister today at Amalienborg, along with the incoming Minister of Culture Marianne Jelved. The former minister Uffe Elbæk resigned and a replacement was quickly brought to Amalienborg to be presented to the sovereign, in this case, Prince Joachim who is regent while his brother is discovering Hong Kong brothels and his mother is off to London to Christmas shop. Joachim formally dismissed one minister and accepted another. Good practice for when the Schackenborgs take the throne!

All this talk of skipping Fred for Joachim, how realistic is it really Cece?
ReplyDeleteWhile I agree that Frito Fries is a useless and incompetent piece of turd, is it really possible to push his family line aside in favour of Joachim's? Can Queen Margrethe and parliament enact such changes? I'm thinking if Fred keeps going down on his current path of being a Prince Do Little with depression and other psychological ailments namely laziness, could that be enough to kick his butt to the curb?

I'm going to write a blog entry about my thoughts on the process. I'll publish it in the near future when it gets slow on the DRF front. I think it can happen, and relatively easily once Daisy's convinced and the public is properly prepared.
